A call from executive producer, Idris Elba led to this… In the spooky month of October, comes a fresh take on UK teen horror from first time director, Arjun Rose. With original score by The Angel, the UK theatrical release date is October 28th 2011. Demons Never Die features the cream of the crop of young British talent including Robert Sheehan (Misfits) and current X Factor judge, Tulisa Contostavlos (N-Dubz). October 3rd 2011 “Everywhere And Nowhere” is now released on DVD after it’s May UK theatrical release. Written and directed by Menhaj Huda, with original score by The Angel, this is the third project that this team has worked on together. Set in London, E+N is a coming of age drama with Ash (pictured above) pursuing his dream of becoming a DJ and his group of friends torn apart by choices relating to their cultural identity.

2011 – Showtime is airing “Bedrooms” with original score by The Angel, following the October 19th 2010 closing night screening at the Bel Air Film Festival, the August 27th East Coast premiere in NYC at ACEFEST where it won the award for Best Feature and the August 20th World Premiere of “Bedrooms“, at the LA Latino Film Festival, where it won an Honorable Mention for the film’s three directors Youssef Delara, Victor Teran and Michael D. Olmos. “Bedrooms” is about the walls we create in our relationships despite the underlying, often strong connections that bind us together.

The Angel scored Season 2 of the Jada Pinkett Smith TV show “HawthoRNe”, hired by showrunner and Executive Producer, Glen Mazzara (The Walking Dead). Angel’s scoring process is documented in her blog post “Season 2 Guide To Scoring Hawthorne” which gives some behind the scenes insights into what the job of a composer really entails from script reading to spotting sessions all the way to the dub stage.

The Angel “Ultra Light” feat. Jhelisa
The latest single release from The Angel is “Ultra Light” featuring the sultry vocals of Jhelisa on Supa Crucial Recordings. The DJ Drez Remix is included in episode 206 of “HawthoRNe” Season 2. Drum ‘N Bass Remixes now also available on iTunes.
The Angel is putting the finishing touches to a new full length album; an instrumental dubscape journey, entitled “Xtra Sensory Goodness” with a slew of remixes and bonus tracks.
