September 2009 sees the world premiere of a new film scored by The Angel, "Gaia", directed by Jason Lehel. The film has been accepted into the "Visions" category at the Toronto International Film Festival.
"Visions focuses on the innovative and is an exciting programme featuring the work of brazen newcomers and veteran filmmakers who are pushing the boundaries of contemporary cinema. It spotlights work that challenges our notion of mainstream cinema and explores experimental filmmaking techniques, new territory and technologies." - TIFF
A press release covering the technical background of the film was put together by the team of Hollywood DI and The Camera House.

The Angel "Ultra Light" feat. Jhelisa
Also coming this fall are numerous releases on the Supa Crucial Recordings label by The Angel. The single "Ultra Light" features the sultry vocals of Jhelisa (see August Spin Magazine). The Angel is also putting the finishing touches to a new full length album; a completely instrumental dubscape journey, entitled "Xtra Sensory Goodness".

The Angel expanded the repetoire of Devilishly Good Productions by bringing her signature sound to remixes and record productions. The Angel then broke out of the confines of the song format and into film composing with the genre defining scores for the features "Boiler Room" (Giovanni Ribisi, Vin Diesel) and "KiDULTHOOD", and later marked another television milestone for a female composer, scoring the Fox Network one hour drama, "Standoff" (Ron Livingston, Rosemarie DeWitt).

In 2000 Devilishly Good Productions formed the record label, Supa Crucial Recordings, which has released both artist and score albums, vinyl and digital EP’s and exclusive singles. Supa Crucial Recordings has a growing catalogue of artist albums, songs and score available for licensing. The artist catalogue is currently available worldwide through digital distributors.
