August 27th East coast premiere in NYC at ACEFEST. August 20, 2010 saw the World Premiere of “Bedrooms“, at the LA Latino Film Festival, directed by Youssef Delara, Victor Teran and Michael D. Olmos with original score by The Angel. Bedrooms is about the walls we create in our relationships despite the underlying, often strong connections that bind us together.
July 2010 “Gaia”, with original score by The Angel, has just completed a round of sold out screenings at the Phoenix and Nashville Film Festivals, Berkshire International Film Festival, where it won the Grand Jury prize, and the LA based Dances With Films Festival, where it won the Fusion Feature Audience award. “Gaia” had it’s world premiere in the “Visions” category of the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2009. “Gaia” was created by writer and director Jason Lehel.

August 2010 The Angel was brought on to score Season 2 of the Jada Pinkett Smith TV show HawthoRNe, by showrunner and Executive Producer, Glen Mazzara. Angel is contributing weekly blog posts giving some behind the scenes insights into scoring each episode, which are now live on the TNT website. Season 2 guests include Robert Wisdom (The Wire) and Adina Porter (True Blood), Debi Mazar (Entourage) and Marc Anthony.

The Angel “Ultra Light” feat. Jhelisa
The latest single release from The Angel is “Ultra Light” featuring the sultry vocals of Jhelisa on Supa Crucial Recordings. The DJ Drez Remix is included in episode 206 of HawthoRNe Season 2. Drum ‘N Bass Remixes now also available on iTunes.
The Angel is putting the finishing touches to a new full length album; an instrumental dubscape journey, entitled “Xtra Sensory Goodness” with a slew of remixes and bonus tracks.
